Supporting Homelessness
Maintain Your Independence
Loose Ends Newbury is a drop-centre in Newbury serving food to the homeless and vulnerable over the age of 18 years. We are open 5 days a week serving healthy, hot meals and mini food parcels, toiletries and clean clothes to those in need. We also guide ('signpost') clients to other agencies or charities that are able to offer help as needed. Adults from Ukraine are more than welcome to come to Loose Ends for meals, food and for help.
In April we are moving to our new home:

Newbury Soup Kitchen

Newbury Soup Kitchen help people by providing food provision, and outreach to care for those in need in West Berkshire.
Helping people: physically, emotionally & socially, spending time with people who need support, encouragement, and empathy to improve their situation. Supporting our clients to gain trust, and relationships encourage growth in confidence, enabling individuals to make better life decisions. Volunteers & outreach workers commit to giving vulnerable people in our society the help to find their voice.
To treat everyone with respect, and kindness, as equals, is not often experienced by our clients in their lives.
To prevent homelessness and move homeless individuals to a more positive future.
